Student Convention

Accelerated Christian Education^® gives Christian young people opportunities to develop leadership skills through Regional Student Conventions and International Student Convention. Preparation and competition develops skills and attitudes that will prepare students for life.

Each year Accelerated Christian Education^® sponsors a Student Convention. Approximately 1,000 young people compete in approximately 150 events in the categories of music, oratory, art, athletics, academics, and numerous aspects of service. This premier event is the highlight of the school year for hundreds of schools and homeschools using the Accelerated Christian Education program.

The Convention allows students to discover and develop their God-given gifts. It is a time of fellowship with students, teachers and parents from around Europe, and a time of encouragement and inspiration at the rallies. The Indonesian Student Convention is an event not to be missed! This convention is for youth 12 years of age and older.

HOW IMPORTANT IS STUDENT CONVENTION?
Student Convention is unique to ACE and is a very important part of the ACE program. It is an essential resource and was developed to meet the broader curriculum areas of:

• Technology
• The Arts
• Health and Physical Well-being

The Student Convention Guidelines along with evaluation sheets, provide parents with a broad range of learning activities that can form the basis of course of study to compliment and supplement the PACE program. The HolyStar Enrichment Program is based on the Student Convention Guidelines. By using the Student Convention Guidelines you can organize a program to meet the specific needs of each of your children.

The Student Convention Guidelines contain evaluations sheets which provide clear criteria by which to teach and evaluate your children’s work. By using various resources you can plan lessons and events to deliver a diverse and exciting program. The HolyStar Board considers Student Convention to be so beneficial and important to our students that they have made a commitment to support our involvement in this event in whatever way possible.

Student Convention is similar to a camp held over 3 to 5 days
